Oil & Water Coagulation
45% of America’s crude oil comes from Kern County. BurrowX was contracted to determine how to recover more oil from underproducing wells.
Oil field managers typically use low pressure steam to get the oil flowing to be pumped up. However when that steam condenses it leaves the oil field manager with oil and water going into their system. BurrowX assisted a Kern County oil field manager identify new chemistry to recover more oil from the water.
The chemistry included a formulation of polymer flocculant and coagulant to capture oil particles and easily remove them from the process water
